About the Role

NetCov, a leader in IT and security services, is seeking a Channel Manager with a strategic mindset to manage and grow relationships with key partners across targeted verticals. This role will focus on building and nurturing strong partnerships within vertical markets while ensuring cross-functional collaboration to drive mutual success. The Channel Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our channel ecosystem, contributing directly to NetCov’s business growth and positioning us as a trusted IT and security services provider.

Accountabilities

  • Strategic Partner Management: Develop, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with key strategic partners within specific industry verticals (e.g., finance, construction, CMMC). Ensure these relationships align with NetCov's goals and deliver mutual business growth.
  • Vertical Focused Partnership Development: Identify and recruit new partners within targeted verticals, understanding the unique needs and challenges of each sector. Develop tailored go-to-market strategies and partner engagement plans that drive success in these industries.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, product, and customer support to align partner strategies with NetCov's overarching business goals. Ensure seamless execution of partner initiatives and communication across departments.
  • Channel Sales Enablement: Create and deliver training, tools, and resources to empower partners to effectively sell NetCov’s security solutions. Collaborate with product teams to ensure partners are well-versed in our offerings, updates, and differentiators.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Regularly track and measure the performance of strategic partners, focusing on key metrics like revenue growth, partner satisfaction, and market penetration. Provide ongoing coaching and support to partners to help them achieve their goals.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and maximize opportunities for growth within the partner ecosystem. Collaborate with partners to create joint business plans that include sales targets, product bundling, and vertical-specific solutions.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the specific verticals you manage. Share actionable insights with cross-functional teams to shape our channel strategy and product roadmap.
  • Marketing & Co-Branding: Partner with NetCov’s marketing team to create co-branded campaigns, sales collateral, and joint events that resonate with targeted verticals. Ensure marketing resources are tailored to support partners’ sales efforts effectively.
  • Contract Management & Negotiations: Lead negotiations for new partner contracts and manage renewals. Ensure contracts are aligned with NetCov's objectives while maintaining a strong partner value proposition.
  • Industry Representation: Represent NetCov at industry events, webinars, and partner meetings. Stay informed on industry best practices, challenges, and innovations to position NetCov as a trusted partner in the IT and security services space.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in channel or partner management, business development, or account management in IT, cybersecurity, or technology services. Experience with vertical-specific solutions (e.g., finance, construction, CMMC) is a plus.
  • Sales & Business Development: Proven track record of driving channel revenue growth and successfully managing partner relationships in a cross-functional environment.
  • Vertical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of at least one of Netcov’s focus verticals and an understanding of how IT and security services can be tailored to meet the unique needs of that industry.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work across departments (sales, marketing, product) and coordinate efforts to deliver integrated solutions to partners.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of IT and security services, including cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services. Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT, cybersecurity, or sales (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar).
  • Experience with CRM Systems: Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms for partner management and reporting.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple vertical-focused programs or projects simultaneously.

Role Logistics

  • This is a full-time position
  • This position may require travel to client offices where locations will vary.
  • This position may require travel to industry events, Network Coverage office locations, and Network Coverage events where locations will vary.
  • Salary range: Base: $75,000-95,000 Annually
  • Bonus opportunity: $10,000- $60,000
