Holman is looking for a CFO – Commercial Finance to drive operational excelling within the finance department and across business units by implementing efficient processes, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What will you do?

  • Guide overarching strategic direction across Fleet, Commercial Vehicle Equipment, Powertrain, Insurance, and Small Business Solutions. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer; create alignment with the companies’ objectives.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to develop and implement operational strategies that support the companies’ financial goals and enhance efficiency and effectiveness across divisions.
  • Oversee all reporting for the organization including, but not limited to budgeting, profit & loss, balance sheet, earnings and cash flow.
  • Oversee operational financial areas to ensure compliance with company policy and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of the Finance Team’s strategic initiatives with those of the broader organization.
  • Seek out and implement new tools or workflows that streamline processes, increase efficiency and improve the overall business experience
  • Use predictive models to ascertain potential impact of industry trends and develop proactive recommendations to ensure appropriate preparation and response.
  • Oversee team management and tracking of forecasting schedules to ensure milestones are achieved by divisional management.
  • Develop and execute analysis of business initiatives and makes recommendations based on results.
  • Champion leadership development initiatives to cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function and across business units.
  • Lead comprehensive performance analysis across business units to identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization; provide strategic recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication channels to ensure alignment with strategic goals and promote synergy among different business units and functional areas.
  • Lead engagement efforts with internal stakeholders and external partners to foster positive relationships and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Drive innovation and growth strategies across business units, fostering an environment that encourages creativity, agility, and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations through reports, presentations, and regular communication with the Executive Vice President and senior executives, highlighting key financial trends, opportunities, and challenges.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA with concentration in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for managing financial data, streamlining processes, and supporting decision-making across various business functions
  • Ability to use Power BI and data analytics tools for visualizing financial data, generating insights, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and consolidation software for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • 15 years’ experience in leadership roles within finance, including roles with increasing levels of responsibility and oversight
  • Experience in a senior finance role within a large, complex organization preferred
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization; knowledge of the complexities of managing finances across multiple regions and jurisdictions
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation laws in the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or related sectors; familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in these industries effecting decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies that drive business growth and achieve revenue or business performance targets.
  • Experience in guiding strategic direction across multiple divisions and aligning operational strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing senior level, high-performing teams.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, including engaging with senior executives, business unit leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting and performance evaluation to support strategic decision-making; experience providing actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with senior executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience promoting cross-divisional collaboration, ensuring cohesive communication and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated success in providing strategic oversight and coordination for large-scale projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and enforcing compliance strategies across divisions; ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact
  • Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business
  • Holds business acumen and leadership experience as top function or division head

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $358,220.00 - $564,195.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
