JOB PURPOSE:
As Category Management Manager - Retail, you will bridge Marketing and Sales, driving category growth, market share, and profitability. You will lead a team of Category Managers and collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize assortment, promotion, and merchandising strategies.

Report to: Sales Director Retail
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Market & Consumer Insights: Analyze category performance, consumer behavior, and retailer strategies to drive growth.
- Category Development: Build and execute category management strategies, optimize assortments, and enhance shelf visibility.
- Promotion & Value Creation: Implement and track promotional strategies, leveraging data insights (IRI, Kantar, Nielsen).
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with Key Account Managers, Marketing, and Field teams to align retail strategies.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of 3 Category Managers.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Marketing, or related field; 3+ years in category management, retail, or merchandising (food industry preferred).
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Agile, innovative, and results-driven, with a strategic mindset and a passion for collaboration.
- Languages & Flexibility: Fluent in English & French; open to regional travel.
