The Role
Asa Card Terminal Support Analyst you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in payment terminals, ensuring smooth operations. Investigate, diagnose, and escalate cases as needed while documenting solutions and monitoring system performance.
Responsibilities
- Understand business challenges, evaluate them, and investigate complex issues across our physical payment acceptance solutions;
- Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring they are resolved from start to finish;
- Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot customer issues, identifying effective solutions and identifying bugs;
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams following standard procedures;
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for card terminals;
- Document technical knowledge by creating knowledge base articles and technical notes;
- Utilize and monitor the Terminal Management System (TMS) for optimal performance.
To be considered you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field;
- Experience in supporting card terminals, or a related field in Financial Services;
- Proven experience with relational database systems and strong SQL skills;
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Datadog, Power BI, Azure Analytics, etc;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong numerical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail;
- Self-driven and quick to learn new technologies and methodologies;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant changes.
