A Project Coordinator will be accountable for managing oversight of various sustaining capital projects supporting the business at the Florida Mining & Supply Chain port sites. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. The job will include multiple scopes of work, to include but not limited to: electrical sleds, power systems for pumping, mine expansions, utility corridors, and/or dragline turnarounds from initiation to completion. Project scopes will include a lead or supporting role with equipment design and fabrication on motors, wiring, power lines, across the line starters, variable frequency drives, medium voltage substations & switchgears.

What You’ll Do:

  • Project execution and management including scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, contractor management, and all aspects of construction.
  • Follow Mosaic’s Capital Project Management (CPM) road map for project initiations/concept through engineering design including development of engineering work packages and engineering proposals (RFQs/RFPs), for project and collaborate with Mosaic’s engineering group.
  • Prepare/present project status reports to the Mosaic Leadership.
  • During construction, managing construction issues, attending meetings, tracking, and resolving RFIs submittals through the project lifecycle using Mosaic’s document control process.
  • Collaborate with Mosaic’s Procurement team on pre-bid meetings, evaluation of bids, pre-award meetings, purchase orders, etc.
  • Review and approval of invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, etc.
  • Supervise and manage contracts to ensure Mosaic’s quality, risk management, budget, schedule, and standards are adhered.
  • Collaborate with Mosaic’s Procurement team on pre-bid meetings, evaluation of bids, pre-award meetings, purchase orders, etc.
  • Review and approval of invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, etc.
  • Supervise and manage contracts to ensure Mosaic’s quality, risk management, budget, schedule, and standards are adhered.
  • Travel to job sites for construction monitoring and progress.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

  • Associate’s Degree (Required).
  • Bachelor's Degree, BA or MBA or PMP or other applicable degree(s) or certification (Preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience working on large scale construction projects and management of engineering consultants, contractors and contracting firms.
  • Experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience working on large scale construction projects and management of engineering consultants, contractors and contracting firms.
  • Experience in the funding approval process (CPM roadmap), including project funding approval.
  • Good people management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and prioritize, and work on multi-disciplinary (i.e., geotechnical, civil, water, surveying, etc., including mine planning, permitting, reclamation, operations, safety) projects, and be adaptable to change and fast-paced construction projects.
  • Knowledge of surveying and ability to interpret construction plans.
  • Building connections with team members, customers, and contractors.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience using SAP
  • Have an active PMP or another project-based certification
