Currently, we are looking for a Capacity Process Lead to join our team in Poland.
The Capacity Process Lead role is primarily focused on ensuring smooth delivery of Capacity Resell offering, consisting mainly of:
- Monthly Billing activities
- Quarterly Cost Optimisation Report (‘COR’) activities
- Licensing procurement activities (for capacity resale customers)
- Commitments procurement activities (for capacity resale customers)
- Ad-hoc Jira tickets coming through the Nordcloud Concierge service (for capacity resale customers)
The role involves working with various stakeholders (Internal, Customers and Hyperscaler representatives) and making sure internal processes are up to date with contractual requirements and changes implemented on the serviced platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Day to day operations are performed by a c. 10-man team based mostly in India, which requires support and guidance in case of out-of-ordinary requests or system issues, as well as review of the performed work. In the meantime, internal documentation is maintained/added and processes are automated to streamline the delivery as much as possible.
Currently, implementation of a new cost management system (Apptio MSP) is underway that requires data validation between the old and new systems, identifying sources of difference (i.e. different ways of handling the source data) and creating requirements of implementations that would bring both systems in line. Until this system is ready for use, the existing system (Nordcloud Insight) will need to be utilized and any issues coordinated with IBM to be remedied.
Main responsibilities:
- Helping with managing 10-man Capacity team based in India
- Overseeing day-to-day work and service delivery for Capacity resale
- Investigating complex issues and anomalies or ad-hoc requests
- Attending internal and external meetings related to Capacity offerings
- Supporting CSM & Sales teams with client requests as needed
- Overseeing internal process documentation
- Automation/templatisation of reporting processes
- Assessing impact of Hyperscaler changes on current processes and systems
- Maintaining current billing system (Insight) and driving implementation of new solution (Apptio MSP)
Your key skills:
- Cloud Understanding: In-depth comprehension of cloud services and payment models.
- Cloud Knowledge: Demonstrable proficiency in AWS, Azure & Google Cloud services. - this is a must
- Technical Proficiency: Practical experience in utilising spreadsheets (e.g., Excel & PowerQuery) for effective data analysis.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyse substantial datasets to extract meaningful insights. AWS Athena & SQL.
- Analytical Tools: Experience with Power BI or other analytical tools.
- Adaptability: Capability to thrive in an ad-hoc environment with minimal management oversight.
- Continuous Learning: A proactive approach to learning new tools and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with an openness to collaborative ideas.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
Skills we'd consider a plus:
- Cloud Enterprise Agreements: AWS EDP, AWS PPA, Microsoft EA, Microsoft MACC
- Cloud Partner Portals: Familiarity with Azure Partner Portal, AWS Partner Center and GCP Partner Sales Console
- Cost Management Tools: Familiarity with native and external cloud cost management tools.
- SQL/Python Proficiency: Ability to utilise SQL and/or Python for extracting and processing data from external sources.
- Data Warehouse Services: General understanding of DWH services.
