As a Campus Recruiter, you will have the unique opportunity to gain broad-based business experience while also having a significant impact on the entire firm.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting for all intern positions for our Tax, Audit, Advisory, Information Assurance, and Information Technology teams.
  • Travel to Aprio’s strategic campuses for events throughout the year with heavy attendance January – March and August – October.
  • Plan and attend on-campus recruiting events such as Career Fairs, socials, presentations, on-campus interviews, etc., at specified campuses to fill intern positions for which you are responsible. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with college career services departments, faculty, and internal stakeholders on campus.
  • Maintain recruiting tracking databases for statistical analysis on all campus hires, intern conversions, branding ROI, and on-boarding effectiveness for New York and New Jersey offices, IAS team, and IT team. 
  • Anticipate and understand the organization's talent needs and develop an active candidate pipeline for the New York and New Jersey offices.
  • Establish partnerships with department leaders for all our offices, the IAS team, and the IT team. 
  • Communicate expectations to Aprio college recruiting teams for the campuses you are responsible for. 
  • Event and Intern Program Management: 
  • Assist with planning, management, and execution of Summer Leadership Conferences, Aprio Case Competition, HeadStart program, as well as additional campus recruiting events. 
  • Assist with management and execution of Aprio internship program in New York and New Jersey offices.
  • Assist with and attend intern activities throughout their internship to ensure positive experience for all interns included but not limited to volunteer activities, happy hours, team building events.
  • Provide additional assistance to the recruiting team, as necessary, for events.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required. 
  • 1-2 years of campus recruiting experience or public accounting experience. 
  • Previous professional service experience is a plus. 
  • Ability to engage with and build relationships with Aprio Partners, college faculty members, and college students. 
  • Demonstrate strong capacity for successfully working with high-volume recruitment and branding campaigns. 
  • Experience or potential to plan, direct, and lead recruiting and new hire events. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale events with multiple stakeholders. 
  • The willingness and ability to travel daily (Monday-Thursday) up to 16 weeks a year, in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. (Campus Recruiting Season January – March and August - October). 
  • Proven excellence in project management skills: prioritizing workload, planning and organizing, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and professional delivery. 
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. 
  • Results-focused, continually seeking to exceed expectations. 
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices is a plus.
