About the Role
We are looking for a CAE Engineer specializing in Biomechanics who is passionate about product development and proficient with the latest digital modeling and simulation tools.
The role is a permanent position, reporting directly to the R&D Manager at our Innovation Enabler Centre.

What You Will Do

Drive digital development in the CAE area and actively carry out FE simulations.

Develop and implement advanced material models in easy-to-use simulation tools.

Accountable for the interface between Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Product/Material development, translating R&D needs into actionable CAE activities and vice versa.

Responsible for your assigned tasks defined in the Agile project team, delivering according to sprint goal.

Create and drive collaboration network with relevant partners from industry and academia in the area of Human Tissue Biomechanics.
Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you need a creative problem-solving approach and an analytical mindset. You have strong CAE Engineering capabilities with focus on making things happen, take ownership, and drive development. A positive attitude, teamwork, and curiosity in exploring new technical opportunities are essential. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator, with the ability to translate complicated computational concepts and build relationships at all levels. Collaboration within an agile cross-functional team where the solution is not always paved out from start is key. Lastly, you have a passion for product development supported by the latest digital modeling and simulation tools.
You have:

Bachelor’s degree in Biomechanics, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering. A Master’s Degree or PhD is an advantage.

Professional experience of finite element analysis using Abaqus and/or LS Dyna in relevant field, preferably with soft human tissue modelling and/or soft materials.

Technical competency (i.e., skilled in structural mechanics, physics, and mathematics).

Experience of creating material models is an advantage.

Experience working with Ansa and Meta is a plus.

Experience working with Python and AI tools is an advantage.

Fluency in English, both verbal and written
