SAP Buyer - Temporary Contract

We are looking for a Plant Buyer to join the Italy Purchasing Team based in Quattordio.

Working as buyer, reporting to the Italy Purchasing Manager.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities necessary to purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Enter requests and orders into the SAP system for managerial approval and release
  • Support the analysis of supplier proposals or quotations with terms that are in the organization’s best interest
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve problems with the timeliness or quality of supplies.
• You will collect purchasing related data and provide management with operational reporting

Planning and purchasing

• You have worked in a factory before in a similar role
• You have a technical background
• Knowledge of specific tools as SAP and excel  
• Fluent in Italian; English will be considered as a plus
• You have great analytical and decision making skills
• You are willing to challenge yourself
• Team work is something that you enjoy
