RevolutionParts is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Business Systems Lead to join our SaaS company and oversee the operational planning and execution of projects involving our core business systems, including Salesforce, JIRA, Slack, Calendly, and other critical tools. This role combines technical expertise with project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our business systems are optimized, integrated, and aligned with organizational goals.
Please Note: This role requires in-office presence at our Tempe, AZ headquarters 2-3 days per week, so we are only considering candidates located in the Greater Phoenix area.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Planning & Project Management:
- Develop and manage project plans for implementing, optimizing, and scaling business systems like Salesforce, JIRA, Slack, Calendly, and other SaaS tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality and addressing potential risks proactively.
- System Administration & Optimization:
- Lead efforts to configure, customize, and integrate SaaS platforms to meet business needs.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and document best practices, usage guidelines, and workflows for all business systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between IT, operations, and functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, customer success) to ensure alignment of system capabilities with business requirements.
- Provide support to end users to promote effective adoption and usage.
- Partner with department heads to identify and prioritize system enhancements.
- Data Management & Security:
- Implement and enforce best practices for data integrity, security, and compliance across business systems.
- Oversee user access and permissions to ensure proper governance and control.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with SaaS vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and new feature rollouts.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or upgrades based on business needs and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience managing and optimizing business systems in a SaaS environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Salesforce administration and configuration.
- Experience with JIRA workflows and integrations.
- Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools like Slack and Calendly.
- Understanding of system integration methods (e.g., APIs, middleware).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification(s) in Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator).
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Zapier).
- Background in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing system migrations or large-scale SaaS implementations.
