As part of the Enablement Operations team, you will work with teams across Thomson Reuters to ensure teams are able to integrate key tools and platform standards across the organization. Additional duties could include being asked to help with the managing, developing and running of training systems and create learning paths. The ideal candidate will be a self-started who can quickly analyze processes and issues to help provide solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, excellent communication skills, development experience and an ability to see where operational efficiency can be optimized.

Elicits and documents client business requirements.

Develops and improves business processes within the technology and business organizations, understanding client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.

Translates requirements for technical solutions, based on understanding of how technical solutions impact the business as required.

Responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. Uses a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs.

Adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ensures change management and communication of change to team is done in a systematic way for medium level projects.

Implements improvements to process or product as directed by management.

Develops a strong awareness and understanding of Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services in assigned area.

Ensure seamless integration and communication between key tools and platforms (e.g., Thomson Reuters strategic tooling, automation tools, reporting and project management software).

Identify opportunities to enhance tool interoperability and streamline workflows.

Identify gaps in processes and skills, then design and implement changes and processes to bridge these gaps.

Work with and help implement AI tools used by Thomson Reuters.

Create code to automate systems used by the team and others.

Knowledge of Power Platform and building applications through that platform.

Build relationships with teams across Thomson Reuters.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to ensure alignment and maximize tool utilization.

Create and implement a consumer satisfaction model, which may include surveys, closure emails, or regular communications.

Provide guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed.

Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness for tooling across Thomson Reuters.

Identify and prioritize key strategic tools to build enhances processes and practices, which may include Azure DevOps (ADO), Datadog, Cumulus, and Internal Developer Portal.

Provide general assistance for cross-functional teams to create and or enhance Power BI dashboards, including templates and significant self-service materials.

Oversee data integrity and consistency across integrated tools and platforms.
-
Generate and analyze reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members and stakeholders are proficient in using key tools.

Work with technology vendors to facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance organization skills and knowledge.

Create a robust system of communicating information to stakeholders including third party training materials, internal materials, automated learning systems, and documentation provided on Atrium.

Develop more self-service access to vendor training tools.

Create, implement, and enforce Azure DevOps compliance procedures across Thomson Reuters using self-serve dashboards and automation as much as possible.

Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices to continuously enhance the team's capabilities.
About you:
You're a fit for the role of Business Systems Analyst if your background includes:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years relevant experience is required.

Strong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and tooling for DevOps.

Experience using AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT and Open Arena.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Office applications.
-
Proven track record of successfully facilitating, managing and/or integrating multiple tools and platforms.

Proven experience in a developer role with a strong understanding of software development processes.

Proficiency in program languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools is desirable.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
