We are looking for a motivated individual to strengthen our Business Risk Management team in the area of Private Banking and Intermediaries. If you enjoy taking on responsibility and are passionate about minimizing risks and advising our Relationship Management contacts, then you are the perfect fit for us!
Your Responsibilities
- Take Responsibility: You will review, assess, and assist with the material evaluation of new customer openings and the regular updating of customer profiles. s in the low and medium risk areas, always in compliance with regulatory requirements and our high internal quality standards.
- Advisory and Support: As the first point of contact, you will support our Relationship Managers in their role as the First Line of Defense with all due diligence questions.
- Identify and Minimize Risks: You will identify money laundering, sanctions, reputational, and other business risks and establish measures to mitigate these risks.
- Communication and Interaction: You will act as an interface and ensure clear and constructive communication between client advisory and compliance.
- Optimize Processes: You will independently identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the development of customer-oriented and efficient processes.
- Stay Updated on Regulatory Developments: You will stay up to date with regulatory changes and implement new regulations in close collaboration with your team members.
Requirements
- Experience: You have already worked as a Business Risk Manager (First Line of Defense) or in the compliance field in the banking and/or financial services sector. Alternatively, you have extensive experience in client management and are willing to further your education in the compliance field.
- Language Skills: Excellent German and English skills complete your profile.
- Expertise: You have a legal or business administration background with relevant professional experience and/or a Due Diligence (Compliance) certification.
- Regulatory Knowledge: You are familiar with the regulatory environment and have experience with KYC checks of business relationships.
- Communication Skills: You are a strong communicator who enjoys providing trustworthy advice and support while always keeping an eye on the risks.
- Sense of Responsibility: Reliability, a sense of responsibility, and an independent working style are second nature to you.
- Willingness to Learn: You look forward to professional development and exchange within the team.
