About the Role

We’re hiring a Business Operations Associate to maintain and improve our client reporting capabilities and internal team processes. Your work will strengthen January’s reporting offerings, client relationships, and January's internal operations. You will collaborate closely with numerous internal stakeholders, such as January's Engineering and Product team members, as well as January's financial institution clients.

What You’ll Work On

  • Own new and existing client reporting workflows, optimizing them for efficiency and accuracy. This work will ensure our operations can support rapid growth while remaining confident in our reporting abilities.

  • Collaborate with January’s product and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues with and improve our internal tools. 

  • Support January’s Contact Center, Client Success, and Client Operations teams in ad hoc troubleshooting, training on tools and data when technical support is needed (e.g., querying the database, interpreting data, investigating reporting)

What You Bring to the Table

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, finance, or consulting

  • Strong SQL is a must. To start, you will spend the majority of time interfacing with our SQL database

  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements and/or optimizations

  • Excited to tackle the nitty-gritty tasks that come with being at a startup to get the job done
