Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for gathering data insights and derive implications for business decision making. It oversees the market data and Swift-level data and provides and end-to-end visibility of our business, as well as opportunities and gaps vs the market. This role involves using data analysis tools to extract insights, develop reports, and visualize data to support strategic business objectives. The BI Lead works closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable intelligence and optimize business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Data and Swift Data: drive analysis that use both, market data and Swift-level aggregated data to get an end-to-end understanding of our business, as well as identifying gaps vs opportunities.
- Data Insights: lead the analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Lead the creation of regular and ad hoc reports for key stakeholders. Define key dimensions of analysis, e.g., markets, segments, corridors, use case, etc.
- Business orientation: understand client needs, business development opportunities and proactively define ways to support with data-driven insights. Knowledge of the APAC region business landscape and needs.
- Data Visualization: Lead the development of interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to help business leaders understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and other critical metrics.
- Data Integration & Extraction: Gather and clean data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party systems. Integrate disparate data to create a unified reporting framework.
- Database Management: Work with databases (SQL, NoSQL) to query, manipulate, and store data. Maintain data integrity and ensure efficient data storage.
- Business Collaboration: Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and deliver insights that drive decision-making, improve processes, and maximize ROI.
- Predictive Analytics: Use statistical models and advanced analytics to forecast trends and support business strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with BI trends and technologies. Suggest process improvements and optimize BI systems to increase the effectiveness of reporting and analytics.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure that all reports and dashboards comply with internal data standards and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence or related areas.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a strong enthusiasm for promoting evidence-based decision making.
- Proficiency in analytical tools including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Use an analytical and data-driven approach to inspire change.
- A keen interest in business strategy and improving operational efficiency through data.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
