Job Summary
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst provides reporting and analytics support to an assigned business unit. Primary responsibilities include the synthesis of information from multiple data sources into sophisticated BI solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams towards shared goals, identifying key insights and presenting to senior management. Leverages big data and augmented BI solutions to solve for complex business problems or to provide strategic decision support.
Job Responsibilities:
- (60% of time) Prepare reports, validate and reconcile reported results using corporate-wide data governance standards and CMISA reporting procedures.
- (15% of time) Provides analytics to provide clarity and context for reported results.
- (10% of time) Develop requirements for reporting solutions based on interactions with line of business stakeholders.
- (10% of time) Design and develop solutions using appropriate BI/Reporting tools in support of stakeholder requirements.
- (5% of time) Present reported results to appropriate level of management.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Minimum experience required: 3+ Years of relevant data engineering, data analytics, computer science, business intelligence industry experience.
- Hands-on experience in modern data architecture and data modeling.
- Strong programming experience in SQL, Python or R.
- Proven experience with one of the BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView etc.)

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of data warehouse and data governance.
- Advanced technical and analytical skills.
- Strong strategical planning skills.
- Working knowledge of the following systems; Excel, Access, SQL, Cognos, OBIEE, Crystal Reports.
Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
