Job Details:

This position is an integral part of the organization and is responsible for achieving volume and profit objectives for products through accurate planning and implementation of marketing plans, advertising customer and distributor promotions, and the successful introduction of new products. It requires a driven team player with a high level of enthusiasm, who possess analytical marketing and business development skills and has the ability to work efficiently independently with a confident personality to take on responsibilities and works towards continuous improvement of process. This position demands strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to proactively juggle many tasks at once.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to design and create full cycle marketing actions to final consumers
  • Analyze channels and propose strategy where we can maximize companies success rate
  • Analyze consumption and identify opportunities
  • Establish a structure to understand imports, quotas and local main players
  • Develop local suppliers for marketing activities (insights, digital marketing, graphic design, printers, consultants etc.)
  • Design and create actions to support demand to be executed by sales (tradeshows, new products, de-listings etc.)
  • Communicate listing and execution pack for every initiative to direct customers
  • Communicate revenue management initiatives to sales (price increases, promotions, trade allowances, rebates etc.)
  • Communicate product info sheets, selling information, specs, discontinuation letters
  • Generate materials for sales and supply chain for correct execution
  • Identify, classify and establish a process to prioritize the opportunities
  • Work with sales, supply chain, revenue management to coordinate project execution
  • Managing all MAP expenses and trade marketing expense in the organization (SG&A)
  • Participate in S&OP processes giving input on: new products forecast, delisting’s, sales promotions, seasonal behavior
  • Connect with US team to carry the executions of initiatives
  • Help General Manager to develop Canada 5-year strategy

TRAVELING REQUIREMENT:

  • Able to travel up to 5 trips a year

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Business development experience (in similar industry is preferred)
  • Full cycle marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical ability and result performance orientated
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and prioritize among a multitude of tasks
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, who strives to perform outside of their job description
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
