As a Business Development Manager (Enterprise) for the corporate business segment, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion in your assigned geography or territory. Your primary focus will be on identifying and acquiring new accounts, and also on expanding our footprint within existing customer accounts by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. While the primary emphasis is on new business development, ensuring seamless relationships and continued customer satisfaction.

About the Role
As the Business Development Manager (Enterprise), your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Selling and expanding contracts for our products to legal professionals within large corporate customers, including listed public companies, to meet their evolving needs and drive revenue growth
- Utilizing a range of sales tactics, including calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to engage with customers, build relationships, and identify new sales opportunities
- Collaborating closely with other departments, such as pre-sales, sales support, product development, and customer success, marketing to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service to meet sales targets, while also identifying areas for process improvements and implementing changes to optimize results
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a deep understanding of the market and our customers' needs
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to drive long-term growth and expansion within your assigned territory
About You
To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you will have the following:
- 3-5 years of sales experience selling data/content to large corporations
- Proven experience in solution sales, with experience in emerging technologies such as generative AI being an asset
- With a background that includes a successful transition from product sales to solution sales would be a significant advantage in this role
- Good communication skills
- Deep understanding of products and services
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective sales strategies
- Ability to develop specific sales strategies to achieve goals for new contract acquisition, renewal of existing contracts, upselling, and cross-selling by utilizing existing sales performance data and other databases to test hypotheses about approaches by product, segment, and other factors
- Team player: Ability to build strong relationships with superiors, colleagues, and subordinates within the department and with other related parties across the company, and to effectively report and obtain understanding and support for activities aimed at achieving goals
