Job Overview

The person in this position will be empowered to define and drive changes, influence and contribute to the company’s strategy for the futures growth of the business in the Americas region.  The position will focus primarily on Datacenter Segment to include AI server and datacenter power infrastructure

The role reports to the Americas Region Leader and will be based in Plano, TX or remotely if filled outside commutable distance to Plano, TX. 

Responsibilities 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities - including new customers, applications and geographic areas.
  • Identify and implement new business models and partnerships to enable growth
  • Identify new market trends, technology and solutions for the focus segment and sub-segment in the region. Works closely with the sales, marketing and FAE team to understand the needs of the customer for future growth.
  • Connect potential suppliers, customers and channel partners with the organization to develop solutions/products and partnership.
  • Prepare annual detailed region strategy for growth including market segmentation, sizing, dynamics, growth initiatives and implementation plan.
  • Provide market research and intelligence for the business globally in their respective focus segment
  • Work closely with products managers, and R&D to define future products and solution needs for growth. Leads process to provide market and customer input into strategic product roadmaps.
  • Represent company at trade shows and industry events.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial role focused on development of new markets, applications or customers.
  • At least 50% travel required within the Americas region
  • Minimum 2 years experience selling into the datacenter market and in particular to the cloud service providers
