Job Summary:  

With a $3 Billion Enterprise Market opportunity, we are investing in building our team. We are currently looking to expand our sales team by bringing on a mission-driven, ambitious, accomplished and growth-minded Business Development Executive. You are front and center at driving profitable growth for PartsSource and expanding market share - directly impacting how we transform the healthcare industry. Your primary responsibility is to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, ensuring we are successful in how retaining and growing our client base for your territory.  

What You’ll Do:

New Business Growth and Territory Expansion  

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities; coordinate business generation activities and develop comprehensive strategies to obtain new logos while collaborating with Sales Specialists to hone our value proposition to solve clients’ needs.  
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support, answer questions, and follow-up and manage high quality RFPs.  
  • Deliver against long-term company strategic goals by building key client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating and closing business deals. Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions ultimately achieving annual sales goals and market penetration targets.  
  • Successfully achieve annual sales targets within a range of $2 million to $5 million, contributing to the overall growth and market penetration objectives of the company.

Client Value Creation through Solution Oriented Sales Strategies  

  • Work with a cross-functional team in Product, Marketing and Operations to understand and position how we utilize our evidence-based solutions to transform the way equipment is serviced in healthcare.  
  • Understand how our solutions and services are designed to lower the total cost of healthcare, improve clinical availability, and help improve the quality of patient care.  
  • Utilize strong listening, clear communication, and presentation skills to form the story that will help clients see the benefits to their day-to-day operations and long-term value.  
  • Able to develop a deep understanding of our products or services, as well as industry trends and competitors, to provide informed recommendations and solutions to clients.  

Market Research & Analysis and Operational Rigor  

  • Have a data driven approach to uncover the market to identify potential clients and develop strategies to expand PartsSource’s client base and increase revenue.  
  • Actively utilize Salesforce.com to manage pipeline, track sales activities, and accurately forecast your business.  
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals; plan and maintain progress against sales goals through robust business development plans.  
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence on products/services and incorporate it into sales client planning process.  

What You’ll Bring  

  • Healthcare Knowledge: Minimum of 8+ years in healthcare solution sales and 10+ years in C-Suite and Healthcare Shared Services navigation.  
  • HTM Department Expertise: Familiarity with – and experience calling on – the HTM Department, comprehensive understanding of their role in hospital operations, common pain points, and available solutions.  
  • Contract Guru: Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex contracts.  
  • Industry Insider: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare HTM (Biomed, Clinical Engineering, etc.), Supply Chain, Finance, and Radiology.  
  • Sales Champion: Consistent history of not just meeting, but surpassing sales targets.  
  • Effective Communication: Active listening and ability to communicate with various audiences to elicit emotion and action.  
  • Results Driven: Innate nature to win. Self-motivated to consistently meet/exceed goals while staying focused on overall achievement of desired outcomes.  
  • Strategic Mindset: Think about the future and stay aware of market trends to lead clients to the right solution for their needs.  
  • Sales Cycle Management: From prospecting to closing and everything in between. You run the process from end-to-end; actively involving internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Relationship Management: Ability to develop strong client relationships, navigate client organizational complexity, and showcase differentiated value for influencers, buyers, and users while leveraging cross-functional internal partners to support the selling process.
