WATTS Water Industries FZE is looking for an organized and goal-oriented Sr. Business Development “Prescription” Engineer responsible for the development of Relations with WATTS customers in the region which includes setting strategies, selling to and educating customers about WATTS product portfolio, facilities, and services.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Prescription Engineer role will be responsible to promote the WATTS portfolio with Consultants, Developers and End users.
- Maximize market exploitation for WATTS portfolios.
- Build and develop relationship with Consultants, Developers, and End Users.
- Actively drive the projects with the stakeholders across the whole sales process.
- Develop the projects pipeline for WATTS own business and the channel partners and ensure the best and the optimized solutions and selections.
- Communicate specification detail, Project detail, and successful contractor information to the sales force ( CRM ) for follow up.
- Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitor activities. Communicate such information to sales management and product managers
- Work closely in providing technical expertise on customer application requirements and specifying WATTS’ technology solution offerings.
- Promote visibility of WATTS to local consulting networks.
- Educate customers on technical features and business benefits of a WATTS proposed solution.
- Specify the implementation of WATTS products and solutions.
- Increase market awareness on both company and products (e.g. through technical product presentations / seminars for customers, promotions, advertising).
- Approval and approval process of WATTS products facilitating all the vital approval documentation (e.g. Type Test info, reference projects, new application examples, ...etc.).
- Technical Engineering support for Consultants, distributors, and End Clients across UAE
EDUCATION: Degree in Engineering
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 - 5 years of experience.
- 1 - 2 years combined experience in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in conducting trainings and presentations.
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Outstanding people skills, strong sales personality, with excellent communication skills, and a phenomenal teammate.
- Knowledge of competitor products.
- Fluent written and spoken English & Arabic
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
- Experience with Main Consultants in the Region.
