At our office facilities by the harbor edge in Horsens, you will become part of an energetic office community, and a finance team consisting of 17 colleagues looking forward to welcoming you to HAY.

The position is a maternity cover lasting approx. nine months.

In this role, you’ll gain valuable insights into the supply chain of a large international organisation with a publicly traded American majority owner. As a key member of the finance team, you’ll support various departments and handle tasks ranging from transfer pricing (TP) to risk assessment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Participating in various projects focused on business development with growing demands for management and controlling, including financial follow-ups, capex projects, and ad hoc tasks.
  • Reporting intercompany transactions (TP), setting up and maintaining allocation keys, internal agreements and pricing policies
  • Conducting risk assessments of customers to support business growth, including automating processes
  • Handling specific recurring operational tasks, such as calculating and reporting royalties to external designers

  • You are structured, ensuring that ad hoc tasks or periods of recurring duties don’t disrupt your workflow
  • You are confident in your decisions and committed to supporting the organization and external stakeholders as a strong, and where needed, humble representative of the finance team
  • You navigate various tasks with diplomacy and respect for all parties, regardless of their background or culture
  • You are motivated by projects rather than routine operational tasks and excel in such environments
  • Change excites you, and you’re ready to dive into the unknown, embracing potential course corrections along the way while working collaboratively toward shared success
     

Experience required

  • A solid foundation in accounting from a relevant higher education degree, such as HA/HD
  • Experience in controlling or auditing, providing a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial mechanisms
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Fluency in English and Danish, both written and spoken
  • Experience with intercompany transactions is an advantage but not a requirement
