We are looking for a highly motivated Business Application Owner to join our Client, Products and Sales (“CPS”) Platform Management team. Platform Management is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing operation of business technology solutions that support LGT Capital Partner's core business functions. Our team is comprised of experienced technology and operations experts focused on ensuring technology delivery meets business objectives.

The CPS platform supports our business development, product solutions and client servicing team with innovative technology solutions. As a Business Application Owner you will lead the run and change of our client and product master data management (“MDM”) application, supporting the efficiency of our client and product operations, ensuring seamless processes and continuously improving the system landscape. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and own the MDM application from a business perspective, acting as the primary contact for stakeholders and IT application management team to ensure that our MDM application delivers maximum value;

  • Define and manage the MDM application roadmap, prioritize enhancements, and support project requirements analysis and design;

  • Assess and analyze business needs, problems, and opportunities; provide expert advice, develop recommendations, and implementation plans;

  • Facilitate collaboration sessions to gather requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and assist with solution implementation and change management;

  • Review and approve new requirements, analyze impacts, and collaborate with business analysts and IT application management team on the technical solution design;

  • Co-ordinate testing and change management, prepare training materials;

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions, maintain stakeholder relationships, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices;

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and information security policies and harmonize application functionality.

Requirements

  • You bring at least 5 years of relevant work experience, with 3 years as a business application owner or product owner in a similar hands-on role at the interface between business and technology;

  • You could proof your sound knowledge of data quality management, data governance and MDM strategies in the past role(s);

  • With your strong analytical and distinct problem-solving skills you are well equipped to understand business and technical functions and process information quickly;

  • You have a genuine interest to learn about the complexities of alternative investment products. An ideal candidate has firsthand experience in Private Markets and is keen to focus on the data and technology solutions in this fast-paced industry;

  • You have a structured approach to project and day-to-day workload management with a pride in ensuring initiatives are prioritized and delivered to a conclusive output;  

  • You are motivated to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various partners, with the ability to deliver also in hectic periods on time with a high level of integrity;

  • On top you are a great team player, who has excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English and likes working at eye level with various levels of the organization.
