The Head of Enterprise Applications Management Services and Dev Sec Ops globally leads the delivery of high value IT Application Management Support (AMS) and Development, Security and Operations (Dev Sec Ops) practices across the company in an integrated fashion.
The incumbent is responsible for managing and optimizing all these enabling horizontal capabilities partnering with Mondelez Digital Services (MDS) Towers/Product streams and Business Units to develop roadmaps and to plan agreed outcomes to deliver high value IT applications and products across the company. The Lead of this function must be motivated and successful at mentoring by building internal best in class AMS/Dev Sec Ops capabilities and tooling and sustaining professional relationships at all levels of the organization. The lead of the AMS/Dev Sec Ops services has well-honed problem solving and decision-making skills, is agile and adaptable, and can effectively manage change. Ultimately this function and position challenges the status quo, thrives in and is successful in a dynamic environment. In a time of quest for efficiencies, this position is in charge of the coordination of the MDS Productivity Flywheel, connecting the dots among product verticals and common platforms to achieve the desired outcomes
This is a senior strategic role reporting directly to the head of the Office of CIDO and is a member of the MDS extended Leadership team.
Job Purpose
The position is accountable for the strategic and operative implementations of mature AMS and DevSecOps practices and intelligent process observability and automation including Dev Sec Ops, RPAs, workflow orchedtration and Low Code/No Code solutions across the enterprise. This position is the lead contact for the defined processes used by the MDS team and third-party suppliers, driving internal and external continuous improvement initiatives to introduce external insights and best practice experiences. The lead has the skills, experience, drive and passion to ensure that global MDLZ has the appropriate IT and Shared Services application support needed to achieve/exceed corporate objectives, to ensure business alignment with the executive team members and sponsors, and to anticipate the needs of the business scaling and augmenting the team to stay ahead of the curve. This function covers tactics and strategy capabilities to the business, can influence adoption across the MDS organization and partners, is results oriented, and has a strong client service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with the Head of the CIDO and the CTO for providing strategic DevSecOps capabilities and direction for the enterprise.
- Sets the objectives and KPI framework for the AMS / DevSecOps function overall
- Is responsible for planning, evolving and developing Dev Ops and Lean operations and governance processes.
- Stays current with current and planned performance and alignment with business strategy.
- Is responsible for driving focus and prioritization within the AMS/DevSecOps organization and partners.
- Develops capabilities shared within the enterprise (i.e. enterprise architecture, business partnering, planning and integration, AMS/DevSecOps continuous improvement, change management, Service strategy, supplier delivery management, DevSecOps coverage of portfolio of programs, projects, product and platform, AMS/DevSecOps operating model)
- Monitors and steers the day-to-day operations and performance of the AMS/DevSecOps organization, practices and capabilities to ensure that processes and organization workflows are efficient and effective
- Controls costs by ensuring transparency of costs and total costs of ownership as new projects are implemented, looking for apportionment of costs and consumption into the Product Verticals, and defining the role for each external partner in the landscape of AMS and DevSecOps
- Develops people within scope according to our talent strategy and ensure that the various people within the scope act and engage according to culture attributes and job descriptions
- Advocates AMS/DevSecOps Lean Strategy and transformation
- Ultimately oversees and operates the application landscape an activity system of the Digital Services function, captured in the CIDO dashboard and cascaded to operating teams in strong alignment with the product management best practices
What you will bring

- 15+ years in MDS and business/industry in supporting large, global SAP application footprint including managing global and diverse ERP teams and outsourced services
- strong track record with the implementation and support of AMS/DevSecOps and including agile methods and teams.
- Strong strategic skills with the ability to anticipate business opportunities, think broadly when confronting issues, and lead change initiatives
- Experience with CoE leadership and promotion of enterprise changes, new methods and tools
- Solid experience with RFP processes, contracts, and vendor management
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of applications and automation technology
- Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for her/his strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholder
