What We'll Bring:
The Business Analyst is responsible for applying knowledge of business and technology to allow for the development of integrated solutions to resolve simple to medium technical and business issues. Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers and functional IT departments and/or development teams during the entire lifecycle of the project. Apply structured methodology in the creation of requirements from the business perspective, translated into easily understood formats that are acted upon by the various technical and/or development teams. Following BA principles and accepted methodologies, define the system and functional requirements of technical projects. Define specifications, Use Cases/User Stories, Requirement Traceability, and/or data models for development efforts and testing. Create detailed test cases and analyze results. May assess available technologies and recommend solutions to technical teams.
What You'll Bring:
Having 2-3 years of experience as a business analyst using Agile methodologies eliciting requirements from business use cases. Experience in analyzing data to draw relevant business conclusions using data visualization techniques/tools and presenting findings to a senior leaders. Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Rally, JIRA and Ab Initio skills. Demonstrated presentation and technical writing skills.
Impact You'll Make:
- Liaise between technology and the business to define configuration specifications, business analysis requirements, and perform quality assurance.
- Define reporting and alerting requirements.
- Own and develop relationship with key stakeholders, working with them to optimize integration.
- Design, document and maintain system processes.
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and communicate key insights/findings and recommendations to product team.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
