DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

GISC Applications supports the SNA Business Applications, all the Project & Initiatives, keep abreast with latest technologies & software versions as well as to enhance the business capabilities in different business domain areas.

POSITION SUMMARY

Analyst ERP is responsible to support day-to-day SAP system operations and BAU (Business-As-Usual) system activities supporting the Business Users.  In addition, the position will be responsible for various Projects and Initiatives for enhancing the business capabilities in the multiple areas across SAP include SD module and other areas of logistics, integration with other applications that overlap the Order to Cash processes in SAP ECC & S4 HANA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate, support and collaborate SAP ERP implementations from start to finish using Best Practice Methodologies and tools, complimenting the current Sony processes and practices.
• Analyze application user needs and business unit interactions to develop software solutions. Participate in the functional and technical development and analysis through new process design and SAP enhancement projects related to SAP-ECC SD and corresponding integrations.
• As a functional subject matter experts in SAP SD, support and drive associated Sony processes and practices.
• Understand, gather, define, and document high-level business requirements on behalf of the business process owners, subject matter experts, users, and other stakeholders and work with business users to assist in documentation of the business requirements.
• Collaborate with onsite & offshore the functional / technical consultants in ensuring successful delivery of the SAP Solution and ensure deliverables are successfully handed over for the closure of the project.
• Design, configure, integrate and test the SD application components in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and S/4 HANA.
• Work with application developers to design and customize applications software for day-to-day business use and optimize operational efficiency utilizing ABAP, User-exits, BAPI, IDOC, Workflow, SAP CPI, BTE and similar technologies in SAP.
• Design, implement and support various interfaces and integration with peripheral systems
• Perform System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing using ALM and JIRA.
• Interface with other functional areas to implement cross-functional solutions.
• Participate, guide & support in testing (Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing) of functionalities.
• Prepare Key user & End user training and workshop materials and conduct the meetings.
• Analyze and enhance current Sony SAP related business processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Analyze and resolve support and enhancement requests.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

• 5 -7 years of full-time hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Order to Cash (OTC) Functional and Technical areas in S/4 HANA
• Very good understanding of standard SAP Sales & Distribution processes.
• Experience and ability to do the SAP (ECC & S4 HANA) configuration in key SAP processes & modules and configuration set ups related to Integration to other SAP Modules & Interfaces with peripheral systems.
• Hands-on & collaborative experience in implementation of interfaces between peripheral systems/apps and SAP SD Module.
• Solid understanding of SAP Technical areas including iDocs, BAPI, BTP, CPI, Workflows, SAP In-APP, CPI, BTE and similar technologies in SAP etc.
• A Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
