Job Title: Alastin Brand Manager

Position Summary:
The Alastin Brand Manager will develop and execute trade and marketing strategies for the Alastin Skincare business. This role is responsible for strategic and tactical marketing executions related to print, digital, events, and clinic/customer support assets, and will monitor and report on their results. The role leverages creative, analytical, and planning skills to drive awareness, trial, and equity of the Alastin brand. With projected rapid growth in Canada, the Brand Manager will ensure growth commitments by translating brand insights into tactical executions that positively impact business growth. The scope includes media (paid and organic), influencer management (macro/micro), and management of all digital assets, among other marketing-related tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare ROI analysis and identify spending mix and opportunities for efficiencies.
- Understand skincare-related trends for test and learns.
- Contribute to and support comprehensive short and long-term strategic plans for brand strategy, integrated marketing planning, and retail plans.
- Translate consumer and brand insights into actionable programs that positively impact business growth.
- Leverage analytics and strategic thinking to deliver against brand objectives.
- Lead organic and paid social media strategy and execution.
- Oversee the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, including success-tracking criteria, and share best practices.
- Lead agency management and project execution.
- Collaborate with social network platforms, influencers, and industry professionals to create a strong network.
- Work with the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) to approve promotional materials and develop claims that align with brand strategy.
- Input and track advertising and promotion budgets, ensuring responsibility and accountability.
Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in CPG Marketing (Sales experience is an asset).
- Experience in like-brand leadership roles; media agency experience will be considered.
- Social, digital, and paid media experience will be considered.
- Experience with the launch of brands and/or SKUs in CPG/retail.
- Preference for marketing professionals with skincare-specific experience. Previous experience in marketing brand and/or project leadership in a cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge of how to market products to drive revenue, including experience developing product positioning, consumer promotions, and executing social, digital, and paid media tactics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Financial acumen and P&L experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with senior management, agency partners, retailers, sales teams, and other internal marketing teams.
- Self-starter willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Extremely well-organized, highly proficient with data analysis, and comfortable managing the tactical/administrative needs of the marketing function. Project management skills are essential to success.
- Ability to be solution-oriented and have an entrepreneurial aptitude to independently complete tasks and drive results.
- Must have a can-do attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize numerous projects simultaneously.
- Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Nielsen Data competency; knowledge of TABS and/or Power BI/CRM systems.
- Travel – 10% in Canada.
- Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms and key business tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
- Understanding of the latest social media trends.
