The Brand Growth Lead is charged with leading OI's strategic expansion into its core markets of fashion and beauty and new industries such as alcohol, consumer fintech, travel/hospitality, and entertainment. This role involves identifying and exploiting market opportunities that align with OI's capabilities in influencer marketing.
You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that introduce OI's platform to these sectors, adapting our proven methods to meet the unique needs and challenges of each vertical. This position requires a hands-on approach to building partnerships, designing targeted marketing campaigns, and setting measurable objectives to gauge the effectiveness of these initiatives. By successfully implementing these strategies, you will directly contribute to OI's transformation into a holistic influencer marketing platform that sets benchmarks across varied industries.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and Close Campaigns: Directly engage with key accounts and prospects to negotiate and close campaigns, setting a strong foundation in each target vertical. Your initial focus will be on personally securing strategic partnerships to demonstrate the viability of OI in new markets.
- Develop Growth Strategies: Create and implement tailored brand growth strategies for each target vertical, focusing on positioning, messaging, and creative direction that resonates with diverse industries.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts that result in repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Lead Campaigns and Partnerships: Oversee the execution of brand campaigns, activations, and partnerships to increase OI's visibility and engagement within new industries.
- Set and Monitor KPIs: Define key performance indicators for each initiative and regularly report on their success to ensure alignment with the broader business objectives.
- Stay Industry-Informed: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights to inform and adjust brand strategies dynamically.
- Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, operations) and external partners to support and enhance brand growth initiatives.
Must Haves
- History of expanding into new markets or verticals with clear, measurable outcomes.
- Proof of significant increase to company revenue in most recent positions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 4+ years of sales experience in industries related to digital marketing or SaaS.
- 2+ years of sales leadership experience.
- Inspirational leader, with experience hiring, training and leading sales teams through evolution and growth.
- Structured thinker who can contribute to/build processes for scalable growth.
- Big picture thinker who will set appropriate goals that align with ShopMy’s aggressive growth plans.
- Elite communication skills, positive attitude, ethical approach to sales and admirable work ethic.
- Data driven decision maker.
- Experience in alcohol, consumer fintech, travel/hospitality, entertainment industries highly preferred.
- MBA or other advanced degree in business or marketing is preferred.
