Blend Station Operator - Days

Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm

The hourly wage for this position is $20.40 to $21.22.

New Hire Sign On Bonus - $2,000

This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.

What you’ll do:

This position will be responsible for performing specialized and routine blending activities according to established formulas and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). 
  • Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiently operate the equipment used to produce blends. 
  • Stage and verify scales. 
  • Perform calibration check on scales. 
  • Weigh the components and pre-mixes small blends and other components that require pre-mixing. 
  • Prepare raw material for blending, adding any pre-mixed components, mixing the blend and preparing for finished product. 
  • Palletize finished goods. 
  • Clean blend station equipment, utensils and work area. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to add and subtract decimal numbers.
  • Ability to accurately use a calculator.
  • Ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • Ability to read, write and perform math problems.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Knowledge of forklift and light equipment operation and/or maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.
  • Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.
  • Ability to pass the medical evaluation for the Respiratory Protection Program and meet and maintain all the requirements of the Mask Fit Program. 
  • Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds; and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.
