We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team within the Retirement and Benefits Solutions department. The individual will be responsible for the evolution of the design system, creating mock-ups, and providing support to the team during development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and business analysts to understand clients’ business needs and contribute to brainstorming sessions
  • Develop user scenarios and flows
  • Create mock-ups and prototypes using our design system and existing web products
  • Identify key issues and areas for improvement in our web products
  • Write visual specifications in work item tickets
  • Contribute to the review of design team mock-ups to ensure visual cohesion across different products
  • Work on the continuous improvement of the design system
  • Support the testing team to help identify visual defects and propose solutions
  • Analyze the relevance of suggested improvements and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to establish the scope of proposed changes and adapt the solution as needed
  • Occasionally participate in client presentations

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, software ergonomics, industrial design, and/or management or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a UX/UI designer
  • Fluent in both French and English, both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Figma software
  • Mastery of best practices and accessibility concepts (WCAG)
  • Ability to understanding and using current IT technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of user-oriented development methods
  • Be meticulous and rigorous in their work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Master’s degree in cognitive ergonomics, an asset
  • Experience in the pension plans or benefits business, an asset
