This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

What you'll do:
- Lead architecture strategy development and definition of roadmaps for IT's DevSecOps processes and capabilities, aligning them with Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Design and implement scalable and reliable DevOps infrastructure and processes to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring adherence to Azure Well-Architected Framework best practices.
Azure Hybrid Cloud Expertise:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end hybrid cloud solutions, seamlessly integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure resources.
- Utilize Azure Arc to extend Azure services and management to on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework principles for resiliency, high availability, and best practices.
Networking and Connectivity:
- Design and configure hybrid networking solutions, including ExpressRoute, VPNs, and Azure Virtual WAN.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish secure and high-performance connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments, following Azure Well-Architected Framework guidelines.
Automation and Scripting:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and templates using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and other scripting languages.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles in accordance with Azure Well-Architected Framework recommendations.
DevOps and CI/CD:
- Promote and lead the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
- Work closely with development teams to streamline the application deployment process in alignment with Azure Well-Architected Framework standards.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that hybrid cloud solutions adhere to strict security and compliance standards, including Azure Security Center and Azure Policy, as per Azure Well-Architected Framework guidelines.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement mitigation strategies in accordance with best practices.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of hybrid cloud architectures, configurations, and best practices, following Azure Well-Architected Framework documentation guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members and stakeholders in the use of Azure Arc, scripting languages, and Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
What you need to bring:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing and implementing end-to-end hybrid cloud solutions in Azure.
- Strong expertise in Azure Arc, ARM, Bicep, and Terraform scripting.
- Extensive knowledge of hybrid networking, including ExpressRoute, VPNs, and Azure Virtual WAN, aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework recommendations.
- Proven experience in leading DevOps initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems in accordance with Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
- In-depth understanding of Azure security and compliance best practices as outlined by the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
