Job Description:

As the technical arm of our sales team, the AV Sales Engineer at GAV MGMT plays a crucial role in leading the charge for our AV solutions. Collaborating closely with our internal AV engineering department, you will ensure that our solutions meet and maintain our proven high-quality standards for both installations and integrated audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical expert within the sales team, providing guidance and expertise throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate closely with internal AV engineering department to develop comprehensive AV solutions that meet client requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
• Lead the design and proposal of AV systems, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
• Develop and prepare technical proposals, and support sales team with technical presentations.
• Support and construct technical documentation for client presentations, including schematics, elevations, audio/visual studies, and industry best practices.
• Actively engage with industry-leading manufacturers and stay updated on the latest AV technologies and trends.
• Conduct site assessments and gather requirements to develop tailored solutions for clients.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and certifications, including CTD-D or CTS-I, and actively pursue relevant certifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience within the AV/IT industry in technical support, sales, or engineering roles.
• Experience working with architects, engineers, consultants, and construction leaders is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools preferred.
• Ability to work within a team, listen, and adapt to client and internal team requirements and guidelines.
• Understanding of the importance of a customer-first approach and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
