Automation Tester

Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Automation Tester to work as part of a team to assist the client in providing services for Automation testing to various clients Benefits Systems. As an Automation Tester, you will need to identify, create and execute test scripts for changes made to the clients Benefits Systems and also assist in automation testing applications to ensure they meet agreed to Service-level Agreements (SLAs).
As part of the team, the Automation Tester will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

• Review of system requirements.
• Automation Testing Preparation Activities (e.g., Script development, data setup, etc.).
• Execution of Automation Test Scenarios.
• Create and submit a status report to the project lead.
• Facilitate and attend project Meetings.
• Provide knowledge transfer to client staff. Knowledge transfer shall be information which will enable or enhance the ability of client staff to maintain and operate internal systems. At a minimum, knowledge transfer shall include:
  • On the job training and education, including all relevant documentation, to enable client staff to adequately maintain and operate the solutions. This may include job shadowing.
  • Written manual and/or guide of all materials associated with the tasks performed in this contract, including a transition plan. The contractor agrees that the client may reproduce such documentation for its own use to sustain project continuity.

Mandatory Experience:

1. Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
2. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing test automation scripts for Web-based applications.
3. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience analyzing functional and technical requirements and translating them into test automation requirements.
4. Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least one (1) year of experience conducting automation testing management information Web-based application or SaaS applications with at least 1,000,000 end users.
5. Must possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the degree must be provided upon request.
6. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing test automation scripts for Cloud or Software as a Service (SaaS) based applications.
7. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience as an application tester with Quick Test Pro (QTP) or Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for automation of test scripts.
8. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of total experience as an application tester with Selenium for automation of test scripts.
9. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of total experience as an application tester with Cross Browser and Cross Device testing automation.
10. Within the last ten (10) years, must have two (2) years of experience utilizing database querying and scripting to mine data and prepare test data, with experience in SQL or other database technologies.
11. Within the last ten (10) years, must be able to provide at least two (2) current references from previous engagements with other companies or government entities of similar size, scope, and type of service.

Desirable Experience:

1. Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) or more months of experience testing one (1) or more *benefit systems (e.g., Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance). The benefit systems need to have had at least 1,000,000 end users.
2. Within the last ten (10) years, an additional two (2) or more years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing test automation scripts for Web- based applications.
