Job Description

An Automation Analyst’s primary responsibility is to data check medical evidence for automated personal injury claims.

Automation Analysts review medical reports and other evidence to ensure accuracy, correct documentation, updating and input of medical data into COA. Using their knowledge and expertise to review, audit and prioritise claims, making decisions based on the evidence presented, all within SLA’s and in line with agreed protocols, industry standards and legal guidelines. Additionally supporting the wider team by escalating queries, flagging system errors, trends and discrepancies.

An Automation Analyst will need to have excellent attention to detail, complete assigned work accurately and to agreed targets. To ensure the day to day tasks of the team are completed within SLA’s in accordance with the Verisk values.

Responsibilities

Data management

  • Maintain high levels of data accuracy across Verisk-COA automated clients.
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Maintain good data governance, ensuring that data is both stored and used in line with regulations.

Data Analysis

  • Providing insights to support growth opportunities, product improvements and trend identification.

Communication and collaboration

  • Being highly visible across the team, providing input for decision making, and participating in different forums; training, product development, process change.
  • Collaborating with peers and with stakeholders from all relevant areas of the business.
  • Staying up to date with emerging trends, client’s requirements, changes to legislation and technology bringing innovation to serve better our customers.

Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills supported by a solid academic and/or work background.
  • Willingness to learn from the bottom up and put in the time to acquire the necessary technical skills.
  • Proactive and creative approach to taking initiative and getting things done.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently to tight deadlines.

Knowledge:

You will need a good working knowledge of relevant medical terms, agreed protocols, computer software, regulations and legislation, and the ability to interpret complex information and make sound judgments.

This knowledge is not required, albeit desirable, ahead of being given this role as all knowledge will be provided on the job.
