What you’ll be doing …

Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and deploy features using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React, enhancing the platform’s functionality and user experience.

Implementing and managing containerization solutions using platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps (ACA).

Monitor the health and performance of containers and resolve any issues that arise.

Follow security best practice to ensure containerized workloads are fully secure.

Partner with DevOps in advancing Infra as Code and Config as Code discipline.

Partner with Platform Architecture team to continuously improve Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify corrective action plan (CAP).
You will need this to be successful …

2-3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or related role, with a focus on building and scaling platforms utilizing TypeScript, JavaScript and React.

2+ years of hands-on Azure experience and 3+ years of overall cloud-native experience
-
Proven experience in implementing and managing container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Fabric.

Passion and creativity for Automation using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
-
Experience in working with GitHub Actions.
-
Expertise in at least one of these scripting/configuration languages: PowerShell, YAML, HCL.

Experience leveraging agile methodology (i.e., Scrumban) to manage project work.
-
Highly effective communicator with a strong commitment to transparency.

Low ego.
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $71,300 - 88,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
