We’re looking for a highly motivated Retention Marketing Associate to support the growth and
optimization of our retention strategy inclusive of email and SMS marketing. The right candidate for this
role will be proactive and resourceful and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. The
Associate will be analytical and a strong communicator with the ability to convey results to leadership
and cross-functional teams. This role is within the Marketing team and will work closely with Creative,
Site, and Merchandising teams.

What you’ll do:

● Support the development of the email and SMS marketing calendar in partnership with Marketing
and Merchandising colleagues to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with product
priorities
● Assist in the creation of retention marketing creative briefs
● Partner with Site colleagues on linking strategies that optimize the on-site customer experience
● Build, test and schedule email and SMS campaigns and flows
● Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance of retention marketing campaigns, creating and
sharing reports with actionable insights
● Identify areas of opportunity, proposing hypotheses, implementing tests, measuring results and
providing analysis and insights to optimize CVR
● Work closely with Senior Manager, Retention in audience segmentation strategy
● Work with the CX team to ensure any customer communication preference requests are processed
● Support Senior Manager, Retention with management and optimization of Faherty Perks loyalty
program
● Conduct competitive research to stay up to date on retention marketing trends


What you’ll have:

● 2+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing
● Familiarity with Klaviyo, Attentive, and Google Analytics a plus
● Highly organized and collaborative team player
● Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving
results
● Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
● Strong quantitative analytical skills
● Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
