Job Title: Associate Project Engineer
The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as an Associate Project Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This position offers a unique chance to work closely with senior engineers and product care teams, ensuring that low voltage and mechanical/CAD drawings meet customer requirements. You'll be responsible for reviewing and preparing drawings, coordinating with customer order engineers, and adhering to engineering processes and guidelines. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of engineering work packages, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
How you'll make an impact
- Review drawing markups provided by Senior Project Engineers and Product Care Engineers.
- Prepare drawings in line with markups, applying engineering knowledge.
- Ensure quality output in drafting work packages.
- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to understand priorities and deliver on time.
- Coordinate with Customer Order Engineers to manage document change requests.
- Adhere to engineering processes and ensure compliance with OHS and integrity guidelines.
- Follow IS security policies within the team.
- Act as a role model within the organization.
Your background
- Experience in low voltage engineering.
- Strong skills in drafting electrical drawings using tools like Zuken E3 or any electrical CAD tool.
- Proficiency in drafting 2D drawings in ACAD, MicroStation, or EPlan.
- Knowledge of Windchill is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
