The Role

The Associate, Product Marketing (Parental Leave Coverage Contract) will support the Product Marketing team by overseeing critical go-to-market functions and product marketing operations during a fast-paced growth period. This role focuses on managing the global product catalog, executing go-to-market strategies for product launches and refreshes, and driving marketing operational excellence across cross-functional teams.

Role Coverage: Associate, Product Marketing

Hours: 40 hrs/week, paid hourly (plus additional hours, as required, to complete tasks)

Duration: Mid December - Early April (Approx. 4 months; parental leave coverage)

Start Date: December 16th, 2024

Responsibilities

  • Global Product Catalog Management: Maintain and optimize product catalogs across US, EU, and APAC markets, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand standards to maximize conversions. This includes both DTC catalog managed within Shopify and Contentful as well as wholesale catalogs on Amazon, Target and Babylist. 
  • Go-to-Market Coordination: Play a lead role in the cross-functional project management and execution for product launches, product refreshes, and marketing collateral, collaborating with Product Management, Product Development, Marketing Channels, Content, Creative, Supply Chain and Wholesale Channels-to-Market.
  • Product Marketing Operational Oversight: Support ecommerce site operations, including inventory monitoring, review syndication, and onsite messaging to ensure seamless customer experiences. Build campaign URLs and track UTM parameters to measure and optimize campaign performance. 
  • Subscriber Feature Management: Partner with internal stakeholders across physical/digital products to maintain the strategy, execution, forecasting and pricing for both the Subscriber Shop and Replacement Part stores.
  • Market Assessments: Support the go-to-market plans with competitive research on new categories and innovation opportunities. 
  • Internal Resource Management: Own and update product knowledge toolkits, ensuring consistency across product communications, messaging, and visual assets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or marketing operations, ideally in consumer products or direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses.
  • Expertise with project management tools (Asana, Airtable, Jira). 
  • Experience with ecommerce and CMS platforms like Shopify or Contentful.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Availability to work collaboratively across time zones when needed.
