Qualifications:

  • Open to fresh grads with bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science
  • At least 1 to 2 years experience on any batch processing/scheduling tools such as Control M, TWS, Mainframe, CA WLA, Autosys.. etc.
  • Familiar or knowledgeable in using Service now
  • Open to work on a rotating schedule

On the job you will:

  • Ensure 24/7 day/night, weekend and holiday coverage is maintained over monitoring of Production Application/Batch Processing to avoid the risk of data loss
  • Monitor batch cycles for any failure or error using required tools
  • Perform preliminary investigation and provide solutions as needed
  • Maintain system performance and online availability
  • Maintain all system and application documentation by making sure everything is up-to-date.
  • Process adhoc requests as per requirements
  • Perform manual tasks, health check and system reboot
  • Restart procedures or perform job reruns
  • Understand the environment (LPARS) where the jobs are running, what applications run where, how to log on to various systems, interactions between LPARS
  • Adjust schedule as needed and document all schedule changes
  • Identifies schedule impacts due to changes and proactively escalates to team
  • Gets involved in event scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as required by the team or clients.
  • Perform request, change and incident management
  • Generate reports as per requirements
  • Communicate, respond and follow up on all issues raised by the client; Problems/issues that are reported by the client must be dealt with and responded too promptly
