Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of Pro Trade Show and Pro events. Responsibilities include strategic planning for trade show and hospitality events for Pro customers and nationally managed accounts. The position requires ability to manage agency partners and navigate internal and external cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- 45% Campaign Management - Manage some components of addressable channel campaigns directly, implementing larger strategy into each plan, including bidding, targeting, channel unit/ad creation, etc. with autonomy; Help to develop and support test & learn agendas; Track and ensure channel performance standards are met or exceeded
- 40% Channel Management - Support omni-channel planning, buying/activating and reporting for all programs and campaigns with autonomy, ensuring larger strategy is implemented as part of each program and/or campaign; Involved in agency and partner management and integration into workflows
- 15% Organizational Alignment - Build relationships and handle communications and feedback loops with key internal and external stakeholders, including channel and platform partners, agencies, etc; Ensure best practices are utilized/shared; Act as an informal leader and mentor within the channel organization

Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3+ years of event planning experience Passion for event planning both professionally and personally
- Deep knowledge of the event planning landscape
- In depth experience in planning and executing events, tradeshows and conferences
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects & events simultaneously
- Successfully perform in high stress, fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and intellectually curious mindset
- Mastery of scope and budget development & tracking
- Strategic, collaborative approach to solving problems with ideas – build relationships and influence a range of teams, can see possible impacts of a decision on many projects
- Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- B2B Marketing preferred
- Understanding of The Home Depot’s Pro Customer
- Sports Marketing experience a plus
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
