What You Will Achieve
Your technical skills will help us keep our plants, utility systems, buildings and equipment up and running. Pfizer will rely on you for maintenance, redesign, repair of utilities in our plants. In your role, you will undertake the necessary preventive and corrective steps for setting priorities, forecasting and allocating resources for the maintenance tasks.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
  • Support Engineering team in planning and overseeing the preventative maintenance for filling equipment.
  • Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion.
  • Support maintenance work management and the installation, commissioning, qualification of equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements initiatives.
  • Provide input to capital project design with respect to equipment selection and specifications that create project approaches which minimize life cycle costs.
  • Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources, i.e. maintenance, production, outside services, stores and engineering.
  • Responsible for pest control management in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) and Pfizer internal requirement.
  • Manage all the utility document and drawings and ensure all of them are sorted and archived properly.
  • Ensure that supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) relevant documentation is generated and maintained.
  • Review new concepts, communicate with vendors for new requirements and preparation and review of URS for new equipment
  • Execute FAT activity applicable to the new equipment
  • Ensure all the Engineering equipment/ Instruments / systems are Qualified and maintained as per the Schedule of Preventive Maintenance & Periodic Re-Qualification.
  • Review and approve FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, IOQ, PQ, PRQ & PV protocols
  • Ensure Equipment is maintained in good condition and minimize downtime

  • Coordinate with user to plan preventive maintenance.
  • To do health check of the maintenance program adhering CMMS program schedules
  • Trending equipment failures / breakdowns and propose corrective actions
  • Study & review operations, to contribute substantially for energy conversation & productivity improvements.
  • To guide the team during breakdowns, trouble shooting and rectifying the basic causes in shortest possible time and also ensuring the data is captured in EAMS.
  • To take all possible steps to ensure that all safety instructions and measures are strictly followed
  • Ensure all the team performing operation and maintenance of equipment / instrument are trained on relevant procedures
  • Ensure the activities being carried out in the Engineering are in line with the approved procedures
  • To coordinate with production for carrying out performance Verifications of various systems periodically.
  • Supporting for new/expansion/improvement projects
  • Carrying out modifications for improvement of the machine/ equipment performance.
  • To ensure upkeep of plant & building w.r.t GMP standards & to carry out special tasks assigned from time to time
  • Supporting for the required reliability initiatives at Site
  • • Engage and inspire the team on performance expectations and coach the team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skill principles.
    • Focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities and as performance measures that should be included in metrics.
    • Know the processes and procedures, including the principles and practices of good datamanagement (ALCOA), and be able to guide, advise and coach the team.
    • Be accountable for the Good Data Management and Data integrity understanding and performance of the team.
    • Effectively monitor the actions of the team. Ensure an active daily presence in the GMP work area to observe the work activity and practices.


Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in reliability-based maintenance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions
  • Aseptic manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated computer and technical skills
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills


Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge or experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
  • Biopharma experience
