About the Team:
The Strategic Initiatives team implements company strategy as defined by Executive Leadership. We operate on a project basis, managing initiatives that are expected to drive the most scalable short, mid and long-term growth for the business. The team oversees our key initiatives end-to-end – starting with an analysis-fueled go/no-go proposal to our Executive Team, and advancing through the cross functional leadership/execution of the strategy. The team is highly collaborative, leading cross functional working groups that require close partnership with senior stakeholders across the Revenue, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and People teams. Categories of projects we lead include: GTM/commercialization strategy for our latest innovations and product launches, M&A diligence and integration, market expansion analysis and implementation (both geographic and segment based), and many others. While we have partners and stakeholders across the organization, we operate in lockstep with the C-Suite, who has a vested interest in each initiative we run.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurially-minded individual to set the strategy for and drive complex and impactful initiatives forward. This person will be challenged to think both strategically and analytically in order to develop and own key components of the business’s strategy. They will be tasked with setting goals, developing and implementing action plans that require crossfunctional stakeholder management to achieve them, reporting initiative performance back to leadership, and iterating through completion. The individual who takes on this high impact role will be trusted to successfully shepherd the company’s most significant investments to successful outcomes.
Who You Are:
- 10+ years professional experience
- Experience operating within the landscape of market intelligence, financial data, or enterprise search is preferred
- Strategic thinker that learns through discovery and isn’t afraid to have their ideas challenged
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills are required
- Passionate about new ideas, solving problems, and delivering results
- Hyper-collaborative partner that can lead through influence by building strong relationships and personal credibility across the organization
- Adaptive and comfortable working in a fast paced and iterative environment
- Creative problem solver that identifies new and innovative ways to remove obstacles standing in the way of progress
- Analytical thinker that relies on data-driven insights and can story-tell through data
- Organized and methodical with an ability to drive clarity and accountability around goals, success criteria, workstreams, and timelines for themselves and others
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and support new business opportunities, assess market trends, evaluate the competitive landscape, and prepare integration plans
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our industry and customers
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and advance strategic initiatives that support business objectives
- Lead the development of project plans, including goal setting, identifying key performance indicators, and establishing delivery timelines
- Prepare and present business cases to leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor progress against strategic plans and provide regular updates to leadership
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.
You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
Base Compensation Range
$180,000—$200,000 USD
