What you are accountable for: 

The Associate Director, Programmatic is accountable for driving all aspects of the programmatic team including the incorporation of omnichannel strategy into complex connected, story-driven, full-funnel experiences while bringing marketplace innovation and thought leadership into the agency and to our clients. Working in close collaboration with media strategy and activation leads, this role manages all aspects of the campaign life cycle as it pertains to programmatic.  

In addition, the Associate Director, Programmatic will be expected to educate the agency on the capabilities within these platforms through ongoing meeting facilitation, note taking, and POV creation.  

What you are responsible for: 

Internal 

  • Holistic ownership of client accounts, including strategy, planning, budgeting, and reporting 
  • Provide strategic and executional support to team members on a variety of clients with different complexities and backgrounds 
  • Integrate omnichannel strategy into overall agency planning and oversee execution across media platforms, specialists, and managers 
  • Develop and pitch innovative strategies and meaningful insights for campaigns for both new and existing clients 
  • Provide strategic and executional support to team members on a variety of clients with different complexities and backgrounds 
  • Troubleshoot issues/concerns and work with online partners to resolve as needed 
  • Proactively communicate with client and internal teams; prepare call agendas, and follow up with call recaps 
  • Research, test, and evaluate new data providers, DSP’s and other partners 
  • Perform in-platform maintenance and optimizations 
  • Oversee regular budget pacing and monitoring for live campaigns to ensure accurate spend delivery, along with any recommendations on strategic test opportunities 
  • Analyze reports within native platforms, excel or Datorama and recommend optimizations for improving campaign performance. 
  • Maintain quality control while ensuring projects and campaigns are executed completely, correctly, accurately, and efficiently for clients 
  • Ensure tactics and vendors utilized are GDPR compliant and ensure all internal processes and procedures are followed, including those specific to certain clients based on their own contractual agreements 
  • Ensure programmatic team is accurately tracking all financial processes in a timely manner 
  • Determine tracking and buying guidelines and special opportunities for specific acounts 
  • Lead agency education on the capabilities within programmatic platforms through ongoing meeting facilitation, note taking, and POV creation 
  • Exhibit the ability to anticipate and solve problems 
  • Own and foster growth in the relationships with agency partners, where applicable 

Customers 

  • Look for and deliver new and innovative solutions to client business issues and challenges, that can take shape of POVs to deliver to client through Client Services 
  • Support agency account growth initiatives 
  • Personal drive to onboard new clients with excellence by embodying our “Be One Team” value and collaborating with all internal teams and stakeholders throughout the onboarding process 
  • Translate marketing goals and brand positioning into viable media communication strategies and ideas across omnichannel landscape 
  • Discover and deliver new test opportunities and ‘firsts’ to drive innovative solutions to executing programmatic campaigns based on specific client business issues and challenges 
  • Work closely with account and media leads to ensure strong senior client relationships on select group of accounts 
  • Support the development and delivery of agency RFP responses and pitches, as applicable 
  • Contribute to the creation of customer case studies and award submissions, as appropriate 

Market Knowledge 

  • Stay abreast of platform improvements and new offerings in the programmatic space 
  • Specialize in topics that require cross-team collaboration; provide agency guidance/POV development, as applicable 
  • Core understanding and knowledge across digital media landscape and where omnichannel intersects 
  • Participate and contribute to agency thought leadership initiative, as applicable 
  • Communicate with partners on latest and greatest ad tech in the industry

We use various market and data-driven salary sources to determine a salary range for each role. Your salary is based upon the skills and experience you bring along with the salary range established for your role. The goal is to ensure that Just Global teammates have salaries that are highly competitive, regardless of where they live.

In addition to your base salary and our flexible working policy, you will enjoy market-leading employment benefits that support you as whole human being. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a discretionary non-contractual profit share, which is based on company performance, because when we succeed as a company, we all get to share in that success.

The base salary range for this role is $87,400 - $105,800. Compensation is determined by location and prior experience.
