We are hiring an Associate Director, Infrastructure, Endpoint, & Cloud Networking for our Infrastructure Engineering organization in either our Boston, MA office. As the Infrastructure, Endpoint, and Cloud Networking team leader, you will own the technical vision and execution of the initiatives for this team, working to manage and improve endpoint, infrastructure, and networking operations. This position will lead a team of engineers responsible for managing all enterprise infrastructure, including corporate sites, call centers, fulfillment centers, data centers, cloud networking, and endpoint management.
This role requires knowledge in IT infrastructure, endpoint security, and networking, along with experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment. You will work with multiple teams to develop best practices, improve automation, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of enterprise endpoints and infrastructure. What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for Chewy's enterprise infrastructure, endpoint management, and cloud networking operations
  • Define endpoint security strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA
  • Oversee and automate device provisioning, configuration management, and patching for endpoints using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, SCCM), Jamf, or Workspace ONE
  • Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions, including EDR/XDR (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne) and encryption solutions (BitLocker, FileVault)
  • Work with engineering leadership to define best practices for infrastructure, endpoint management, and networking across Chewy's on-premise and cloud environments
  • Scale and improve endpoint engineering and security operations, ensuring efficiency, automation, and compliance across all corporate devices
  • Establish automated patch management and software deployment processes to maintain endpoint security and reduce vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with IT Service Desk and Security teams to resolve endpoint-related issues and implement proactive monitoring solutions
  • Work with leadership for career development, team scaling, and operational improvements
  • Define and track endpoint performance metrics and incident resolution SLAs, ensuring service levels are met
  • Participate in Quarterly Planning Sessions and business review reporting to assess endpoint and infrastructure performance


What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, including endpoint, infrastructure, and cloud networking
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Engineering Management, leading endpoint or infrastructure teams
  • Experience managing highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise-scale infrastructure and endpoint solutions
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security, device management, and cloud networking (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with endpoint automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and DevOps methodologies
  • Demonstrable ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud networking (AWS), and endpoint management technologies
  • Strong understanding of IT security frameworks, compliance regulations, and standard methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, make data-driven decisions, and execute at scale


Bonus:

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (AWS, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
  • Experience with ITIL, Agile methodologies, and DevOps for endpoint and infrastructure management
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for IT service and asset management
