Standard Reporting

Generate daily/weekly/monthly standard reports according to the documented processes within the SLA

Ensure accuracy and quality of the reports handled before distribution. Able to conduct peer review of teammate's work to check on the timeliness, accuracy and quality of their (the teammate's) work.

Handle investigations and queries about the standard reports generated and distributed

Ensure timely update of standard report inventory to include information about the reports generated

Ensure that the steps indicated in the process documentation are easily understood and followed.

Attends weekly updates for business sponsor, leadership, and other stakeholders. Should be able to present/participate when ask for specifics on the reports handled.

Aligns to data management/data governance regulations and policies

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance

Identify opportunities for process improvement
Adhoc Queries and Reporting

Handles simple to moderate adhoc data and/or report requests. Able to leverage standard reporting to satisfy business needs.

Interacts with stakeholders to understand their information needs, investigate requests and respond to inquiries/requests

Leverages SQL, Access and other reporting tools to build and enhance data queries and reports

Perform select data mining activities, drawing correlations within datasets

Assist team with quality assurance of dashboards and reports, ensuring seamless user experience

Partner with Analysts on ad-hoc projects as necessary

Manage reporting user base, including intranet user administration, group mailbox(es) and email report distribution lists (Reporting administration)

Reporting to AAI Data Analytics Manager, and working closely with the Director, JH RPS Reporting and Business Intelligence. The Associate Business Analytics Specialist is responsible for creating/distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports. This role also manages communications from stakeholders to provide ongoing timely assistance to inquiries by leveraging business insights and reporting expertise. What we are looking for
-
1 - 2 years of reporting & sales metrics
-
Amenable to work graveyard (8PM-5AM)
-
Degree in finance, business administration, math, statistics, economics and other quantitative discipline

Knowledge of Salesforce
-
Proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel, MS Access and other reporting technologies

Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
-
Strong organization and project management skills.

Excellent customer focus and a commitment to quality while still meeting deadlines
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including mid-level managers

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of SQL and other relational database technologies preferred but not required
