Job Summary:
As a Fraud Business Analyst within the Consumer Banking Fraud Recovery Team, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage projects focused on process improvement and automation. You will collaborate with technology and product partners to design and implement tech solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will use your strong problem-solving skills and data-promoten insights to make informed decisions and promote business transformation. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving efficiency and effectiveness in fraud recovery. The Consumer Banking Fraud Business Analyst will report to a Fraud Recovery Manager with dotted line to the VP, Senior Fraud Recovery Manager as part of the Commercial Fraud Prevention and Recoveries Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects focused on process improvement and automation within the CB Fraud Recovery Team.
- Collaborate with technology and product partners to design and implement tech solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct data analysis to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable solutions.
- Develop and execute a change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and resolve project roadblocks, ensuring alignment and progress.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive business transformation.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and proactively address challenges.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and/or product management.
- Strong understanding of technology and its application in process improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project and product management methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and presenting project reports.
- Proven ability to support senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Adaptability and initiative in handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
