Overview:Reporting directly to the Assistant Plant Manager, this position will be in training for a period of one year or, until he/she satisfactorily learns every aspect of operations, distribution and all service departments.

Responsibilities:
After the training period, employee will:
1. supervise the daily operations in any area where the facility has a need
2. ensure all associates are properly trained and understand the processes within the assigned department
3. maintain responsibility for the initiation of reward and disciplinary systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of two years college preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience coaching and leading people.
- Food processing experience desired or a minimum of three (3) years manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general information on a technical level
- Basic computer skills in all MS Office applications
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Must have basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations of formulations, ingredients, yields, and man-hours
- Good analytical and logical problem solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Must be able to lift overhead up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, in refrigerated environment as well as in cooking areas.
- Ability to travel to other facilities required.
