Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for North India Shoe sales and Spunbond bond other applications.
  • Develop market for Spunbond other applications like carpet, Automotive etc of India
  • Managing and leading local sales personnel, responsible for development of local team of Agents/distributors.
  • And for building up a strong local sales and distributors in the North India footwear industry.
  • Working together with local/global sales and marketing team, coordinating, and supporting resource globally and locally to provide a structured approach to the key accounts in the responsible areas.
  • Technical support to Shoe Industry and newly developed industry in aligned with Global technical support.
  • Being accountable for achieving assigned tasks and targeted operation result
  • Doing Market Research, Sales Forecast/Planning and data maintenance, and setting up the short term strategy plans to develop new business applications while maintaining and increasing existing business together with local and global teams.
  • To manage and deliver the relevant budgets and business reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or above is required, preferably in Footwear/Textile Engineering, preferably MBA from Reputed institute
  • At least 3-10 years of successful sales and management experiences in Footwear/Technical textile industry
  • Fluency in both English and local (Hindi) (understanding of other local language is a plus, e.g. Bengal or Tamil.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis
