SUMMARY

As assistant project manager, you will advance Toyota Tsusho America’s (“TAI”) Corporate Communication goals and support the growing Corporate Communication needs of our North American organization by managing key internal communications projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for planning, leading, and measuring corporate communications projects that effectively tell the company's story, improve brand recognition, communicate key messages, and reach/convert targeted audiences (internal and external) through visual and written communication and other activations.

  • Create and manage content and strategy for key communication channels, including social media and corporate website.

  • Support media relations. May include press release writing, media event planning and activation, media pitching and responding to media inquiries.

  • Support executive communication. May include writing talking points, speeches, or preparing presentations for executive leadership.

  • Monitor corporate communications project goals and milestones and deliverables to measure their effectiveness and success.

  • Plan, schedule, review, or coordinate corporate communications project activities to meet deadlines.

  • Produce and distribute relevant corporate communications project documents, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field. 6 – 9 years’ experience in Corporate Communications, Social Media, Public Relations or Media Relations.
