RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park is located in Australia's spectacular Coral Coast region and is a 13-hour drive north of Perth or a 2-hour flight from Perth. The park is only one kilometre south of Exmouth town centre and is a 10-minute walk away from beautiful beaches. Featuring self-contained cabins and studios, powered caravan sites and campsites, our accommodation holds approximately 1,200 guests at peak.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Park Manager with strong park management, administrative and guest-services experience to join our team on a full-time basis and contribute to providing our RAC members and guests with high-quality park accommodation services.
This role would be ideal for a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth as Manager's accommodation is included as part of the job package allowing the right candidate to live and work on-site.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Park Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest experience is positive and memorable. You'll be hands-on with regular quality checks across accommodation, amenities, and shared spaces to maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards.
This role has a strong administrative, front office and reception focus, supporting daily operations through rostering, reporting, compliance tracking, and system management. You'll also assist with supplier coordination, stock control, and team leadership, playing a key role in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the park.
In this role you will:

Support the Park Manager with rostering, recruitment, daily targets, training, team performance, and KPIs.

Oversee Housekeeping, Café, Grounds, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Manage guest requests and complaints with a strong focus on positive guest experience.

Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards across all areas of the park.

Handle key admin tasks including compliance tracking, reporting, rostering, and stock control.

Assist with supplier coordination, system updates, and maintaining park presentation.

Ensure effective systems and OH&S procedures are in place and followed.

Act as the Park Manager during their absence.
What are we looking for in you?

Excellent customer service skills to provide our guests & members with an amazing experience.

Strong administration skills (ideally previous reception or front office experience)

Experience in similar role including demonstrated management experience in the hospitality or related industries.

Strong computer skills including MS Office, NewBook (or similar reservations system), Financial Software, Rostering Software and SharePoint.

Strong understanding of caravan park grounds and requirements.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting on caravan park operations, and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.

Current Driver's Licence, Police Clearance, and Senior First Aid Certificate.

Availability to meet operational working hours across 7 days including weekends, public holidays and reasonable overtime.

Availability to work after hours and on call as per the on-call roster.
