Position Overview
The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain and Procurement will support Head of Procurement in overseeing and managing the Third-Party Manufacturer supply chain and procurement processes. This role involves ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, maintaining strong relationships with CM/suppliers, and optimizing supply chain operations to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Coordination

Support the development and optimization of supply chain processes and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with CMs/suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency.

Assist in the resolution of supply chain disruptions and issues.

CM and Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with CMs and vendors.

Evaluate CM/supplier performance and compliance with company standards and requirements.

Address and resolve supplier-related issues and disputes.

Cost Management
-
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement and supply chain operations.

Analyse and report on cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

Compliance and Risk Management
-
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier risk, geopolitical risk, and market volatility.

Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing or procurement roles.

Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain optimization.

Willingness to travel as required, including Southeast Asia (SEA), India and China.

Proficiency in English & Mandarin is preferred.
Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in supply chain and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI).

Knowledge of market trends and best practices in supply chain management.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
